Default p/e ever viable?

was just wondering if a p/e had any viability in PvE

was thinking about possible builds that take advantage of the "they're on fire" type of things - combination with mark of rodgort? (just thinking outside the box) - so thoughts?

anything about this 2nd profession viable with a paragon

DO NOT SUGGEST P/W FOR IMBAGON - THEY SUCK MY BALLS!
<< go go red gore engine haha - but please sensible stuff not just "go p/w use imbagon its leet"

You could, but if it was me, I'd rather just bring a SF ele hero. 15e is quite a bit, I would use just adreniline shouts aside from mark and conjure (To make up for the lost points in spear mastery).

That's just me though.

Go P/R with GftE Barrager.

If you want to use THey're on Fire

Get a real frontliner, bring Blazing Finale and Anthem of Flame with Power is Yerz

that was a major consideration and issue I found....but as I said - it was just one idea I had for a possible build...

but thank you for the input....just wondering if anyone can think whether this can be made viable etc. (p/e not MoR para

can't remember my whole build, but I did P/E for a while -- lulu's spear, conjure flame, anthem of flame, etc. Complimenting SF nuker heroes

Here's a fun thread I think you should look at - it's all about using your paragon to spam Searing Flames (disclaimer: not suggesting this is good but it's lulzy as hell)

Edit: true, I'd forgotten that Glowing Gaze is Energy Storage based now. Oh well.

Blazing Finale is your best bet for burning. Due the it's massive 6 second burn time it's great for frontliners.

Then there's Burning Refrain, Anthem of Flame....but P/E just doesn't work. They can't keep their energy up as well as other classes can and I'm pretty sure since I was running Savannah Heat when I tried mine, they certainly can't keep up high energy skills like Rodgort and Searing Flames.

For some missions (ie "A Time for Heroes") a para with wards is quite useful.

A Obsidan Flesh-tank is also possible, but nowadays such a tank is completely blown out of the water by a SF-tank.

This is true for paragon and every other class in the game. Secondaries just don't matter much at all. Besides, even if they did all you have to do is click a dropdown menu to change them.

Seriously just run a paragon, they have so many powerful skills even when they don't focus everything on save yourself.

Playing as predominantly a secondary is not thinking outside the box, its been done before and has been done to death. Paragon itself is so underused that there are plenty of paragon bars that are already outside the box.

Its also not really "playing outside the box" if someone gives it to you.
